he Doctor of Philosophy in Organizational Leadership (Ph.D.) has been developed to prepare followers of Christ for active participation across a wide range of professions including business, ministry, government, and education. The degree can be completed 100% online or in combination with on-campus classes.
Working individuals will be prepared in this program to identify and understand the opportunities and complexities of leading with the purpose of creating transformative organizations and communities from a Christian perspective. Emphasizing the role of followers within the leadership process brings a unique perspective to the program. Students will be prepared to lead with a focus on the following:
The Doctor of Philosophy in Christian Education degree program requires a total of 50 hours. This is comprised of six courses (30 hours) and a dissertation (20 hours). Three of the six required courses must be core courses chosen from the list of Authorized Textbooks provided below. Up to three of the six required courses may be electives. Electives may be chosen from the Electives Page, the No Travel Seminar tab or any other degree program page. No Travel Seminars are optional. A maximum of three No Travel Seminars may be utilized for this program.
Courses/Textbooks may not be utilized for more than one degree program.
